Under the category of assessment of a learner’s existing English language competency, we provide counselling, BEC Diagnostic Test, and testing for Cambridge ESOL – Business Language Testing Service (BULATS).
Counselling helps to determine at what level an individual’s current Business English language competency lies and which training is appropriate for him or her.
The Business English Certificate (BEC) Diagnostic test is administered by PeopleEnglish to those who want to write the Cambridge ESOL – BEC examination. Its helps determine which of the three levels of the BEC examination is appropriate for the individual.

Business Language Testing Service (BULATS): Cambridge ESOL – Business Language Testing Service (BULATS) are an economical and easy to use testing and reporting system for individuals and companies seeking a quick and reliable way of assessment of their language skills for the workplace.

It is a flexible set of assessment tools for business, industry and commerce that can help you:

assess the language ability of job applicants quickly and accurately
select staff with the right language skills for placement in international
offices
audit the existing language abilities of your staff
measure the progress of your language training programmes.
BULATS can assess language ability for the workplace in English, French, German and Spanish.

BULATS has been developed and delivered by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL), Alliance Francaise, Goethe-Institut and Universidad de Salamanca.
